1. LOCATION
Place the heater on the floor beneath the coldest window in the room or any desired location. Your
heater will minimize the effect of cold drafts. The heater must not be located immediately below an
outlet. Do not use this heater in rooms having a surface area less than 45 sq. ft (4 m
2. CON N ECTION
The radiator must be connected to a properly polarized A/ C 110/ 120 V household outlet in per-
fect working conditions.
Keep loose clothing or bedding, furniture and flammable material away from the wall outlet where
the heater plug is fitted in.
3. GROUN D FAULT IN TERRUPTION SAFETY DEVICE (GFI PLUG)
This device provides protection against electric shock due to ground fault currents by automatically
shutting off the power. To test the operation of the GFI plug switch the
heater O N at either the 1 or 2 setting. Press the TEST button on the GFI
plug device attached to the plug end of the power cord. The heater and
fan should stop operating and the Power Light should turn off. Press the
RESET button on the GFI plug device to resume normal operation of the
heater. This device should not be used as on O N / O FF operation switch.

4. USE OF THERM OSTAT
Turn thermostat clockwise to the maximum position. Switch on both switches. The lights on the swit-
ches remain on independently from of the cycling of the thermostat. W hen the room reaches the
desired temperature, turn the thermostat knob clockwise very slowly and carefully until you hear a
" click" . This will automatically set your unit to cycle on and off at that desired heat setting. (For
timer instructions, see point 5).
N ote: It will normally require approx.15 minutes to reach operating temperature.
