OPERATION
1. While closing the measuring faces (2 and 3) press the button ON/OFF (6), the display (7) shows
"0.00" if the display shows other value, then press the button ZERO (5).
2. Press the lever (8), insert the workpiece between the measuring faces and release the lever. When
the displayed value is stable, take measurements.
3. Press the button ON/OFF (6) to switch off the item.
POWER SUPPLY
A button cell battery is inserted under the battery compartment cover (4).
Change the battery as soon as the LCD display becomes poorly readable.
After not being used, the device switches off automatically after a while.
Switch off the device using the (ON/OFF) button to extend the battery life.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the
environment.
DISPOSAL
Do not dispose battery in household waste. Batteries should be disposed of in a responsible
manner, they must be disposed at appropriate collection point. Dispose of this product at the
end of its working life in compliance with the EU Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic
Equipment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information or give the product
for disposal to BGS technic KG or to an electrical appliances retailer.
