Power Outages
In the event of a power interruption, all existing temperature settings are automatically
memorised. If the power supply is interrupted (power surge, switch failure, etc.) and then
switched on again, the unit will operate at the last selected temperature.
Most power outages are rectified within a few hours and should not affect the temperature of
your appliance if the number of times the door is opened is minimised. If the power is to be cut
off for a longer period of time, it is necessary to take appropriate measures to protect the
contents.
NOTE: Regardless of the cause, if you notice any abnormal temperature or variation in humidity
levels inside the unit, please be assured that only frequent long term exposure to these
abnormal conditions can cause a detrimental effect on your wines.
Energy Saving Tips
ENERGY SAVING TIPS
In case the appliance remains empty for long periods of time, it is suggested to unplug it and,
after careful cleaning, leave the door ajar to allow air to circulate inside the cabinet to avoid
possible formation of condensation, mould or odours.
The appliance should be installed in the coolest part of the room, away from heat-producing
appliances and direct sunlight.
Ensure that the unit is adequately ventilated. Never cover the ventilation openings. Clean dust
and dirt from the condenser at regular intervals.
Open the door only as much as necessary and for as little time as
possible. Store contents in an organised manner.
To allow air circulation, do not overfill the appliance.
