• Always disconnect the input power cord from
the wall outlet before replacing the battery.
• The mains supply is 220 - 240 Volts and 50
Hz/60Hz from a TN power distribution system.
• The total power required for the connected
equipment does not exceed the rated output
power of the UPS.
• It is important that ventilation air can move
freely around and through the unit. Do not
block the air vents.
• Disconnect the power cord from the UPS power
outlets before starting any maintenance
activities on the load equipment.
• Never dispose of batteries in a fire: they may
explode.
• Never disassemble or reassemble batteries;
their contents (electrolyte) may be extremely
toxic.
• Never short the battery terminals. Shorting may
cause the battery to burn. When working with
batteries, remove watches, rings or other metal
objects and only use insulated tools.
• Caution risk of explosion if battery is replaced
by an incorrect type.
• Dispose of used batteries according to the
instructions
• When replacing batteries, replace with the
same type and number of batteries or battery

• CAUTION: A battery can present a risk of
electrical shock and high short circuit current.
The following precautions should be observed
when working on batteries.
a) Remove watches, rings or other metal
objects.
b) Use tools with insulated handles.
c) Wear rubber gloves and boots.
d) Do not lay tools or metal parts on top
of batteries.
e) Disconnect the charging source prior
to connecting or disconnecting battery
terminals.
f) Determine if battery is inadvertently
grounded. If inadvertently grounded,
remove source from ground. Contact with
any part of a grounded battery can result
in electrical shock. The likelihood of such
shock can be reduced
if such grounds are removed during
installation and maintenance.
- For best operation, please do not use the
input/output power cord sets (IEC C13
to IEC C14) longer than 2m.
- UPS must be connected to an earthed mains
socket outlet. The mains socket outlet that
supplies the UPS shall be installed near the
UPS and shall be easily accessible.
