SOLVING COMMON PROBLEMS
The 3 most common causes of problems with a gas heater are gas leaks, wrong gas
pressure and dirt.
DO NOT USE YOUR PATIO HEATER WITHOUT CHECKING FOR LEAKS FIRST. Leaks
may occur during shipping and installation. See the "Leakage test" section for further
instructions.
INCORRECT GAS PRESSURE. Excessive gas pressure can seriously damage your patio
heater. Too little gas pressure and your patio heater will not burn properly. If there are
any problems with the gas pressure, contact your dealer.
DUST AND DIRT. This patio heater must be cleaned regularly. If the pilot flame
does not continue to burn, it is probably time for your patio heater to be cleaned.
For further instructions see chapter 'Cleaning and maintenance' . Replacement of
thermocouple or pilot light is generally not necessary. If problems persist, contact your
dealer.
