Installation
The carbon monoxide sensor should be
installed outside the bedrooms, but in their
vicinity. For additional protection, CO sensors
can be installed in each room and on each level.
If the hallway is longer than 12 meters, install
one CO sensor at each end of the hallway.
For additional protection, install a CO sensor
at a distance of at least 6 meters from the
stove, fireplace or potential source of carbon
monoxide.
Locations to avoid
Kitchens, garages or the furnace rooms.
Greasy steam, exhaust gas and smoke could
affect the sensitivity of the sensor.
