The screw must drive fully into the locking hole until the screw head contacts the
bracket, if this does not occur the motor head must be removed, rotated the
bracket 180º and reinstalled.
10. Attach adjusting screw to adjusting screw and tighten. Insert the tilt adjustment
knob and tighten it. The tilt adjustment knob locks the fan on the tube at the desired
tilt.
ASSEMBLY OF THE BLADES AND THE GRID
CAUTION: The fan blade may have sharp edges. Handle with extreme care.
1. Unscrew the 4 rear grille screws fixed on the motor unit.
2. Place the rear grill on the motor shaft, making sure the handle is on top.
Align the rear grill on the motor unit and then secure the rear grill on the
motor unit with the 4 rear grill screws (Fig. 4)
3. Place the fan blade over the motor shaft, align the blade set screw with the
notch and secure by firmly tightening the screw (Fig. 5 & 6). A screwdriver
with a short shaft is recommended. The blades may have sharp edges and
should be handled with extreme care.
4. Hold the front grille and rear grille in place, place the upper hook in position,
and then place the locking screw and nut into the holes on the bottom edge
of the shelves, tighten the locking screw and nut ( Fig.7).
5. Secure front and rear grill completely together by snapping grill clips into
place.
