"top-heavy" and likely to tip over.
Neither the manufacturer nor the retailer can
accept any responsibility for injury, loss or damage
caused by misuse of this product of any kind.
Examples of misuse are given in the following
non-exhaustive list:
• Use of the router table for any purpose other
than that for which it is intended,
• Non-observance of the safety warnings and
instructions as well as the assembly, operating,
cleaning and maintenance instructions con-
tained in this user manual,
• Non-observance of any applicable health, safety
and accident prevention regulations concerning
the use of this router table,
• Use of accessories or spare parts that are not
suitable for the router table,
• Modification of the router table,
• Repair of the router table by any person other
than the manufacturer or a workshop,
• Commercial or otherwise excessive use of the
router table,
• Operation and maintenance of the router table
performed by persons who are not competent
to use the router table and have not been
warned of possible risks.
Even with the application of the relevant safety
regulations and the implementation of safety
devices, certain residual risks cannot be avoided.
In connection with the construction and use of the
router table, the following hazards may occur:
• Danger of injury through contact with the rotat-
ing router bit caused by improper guidance of
the workpiece,
• Danger of injury through flying workpieces
and/or uncontrolled lift-up of the workpiece
caused by improper guidance or holding of the
workpiece, such as working without the use of
a fence or feather boards,
• Health risks associated with wood dust and
wood chips. Always use personal protective
equipment such as safety goggles and a dust
mask. Use a dust extraction device,
• Danger of injury caused by long hair or loose-fit-
ting clothing. Always wear tight-fitting work
clothing and keep long hair in a hair net,
• Danger of injury to the hands and fingers when
the router bit is changed. Wear protective gloves,

• Danger of laceration caused by the rotating
router bit when the machine is switched on,
• Danger of electric shock if the machine is con-
nected to a faulty mains system.
Despite all safety precautions taken, some hidden
risks may remain. Residual risks can be minimised
by following the safety instructions, the scope of
use and the user manual.
A. Workpiece dimensions:
-
Workpieces less than 200 mm in length may
only be fed towards the router bit with the
aid of a workpiece feed device such as a
push stick.

Workpieces greater than 1000 mm in length
must be prevented from tipping with a roller
stand.

The maximum workpiece width of 100 mm
may not be exceeded.
B. The router table may only be used to cut square
or rectangular shaped workpieces. Do not cut
circular workpieces (such as broom handles or
branches) with the router table.
C. The router table is suitable for producing shaped
edges (profiles), chamfers, joints, rebates and
wood joints. The router table may not be used
for working of end grain wood or the cutting of
mortice tenons. Plunge milling, curve milling
and synchronous feed milling are not allowed.
Stopped work is not allowed.
D. Ensure that all protective devices are fitted and in
good working order before you use the machine.
E. The router table is designed for single-person
operation. The operator is responsible for the
safety of others in the vicinity.
F. Read and follow all safety instructions printed
on the machine. A copy of the safety instructions
printed on the machine is contained in this user
manual.
G. If the dimensions of your workpiece exceed the
dimensions of the work table, the side tables
must be used.
H. The router table must always be connected to a
dust extraction device.
I. Use the machine when it is in good working
order for the purpose for which it was designed
and according to the instructions contained
in this user manual and the manual supplied
with the electric router you use with the router
table. Consider the potential dangers associated
with the use of the machine. Any defects which
