Battery save
If days of bad weather occur or insufficient sunlight is received, the energiser will revert to
operating at low speed (3 seconds between pulses) and half energy output in order to
conserve the remaining battery. This occurs regardless of the switch position or the time of day.
If days of insufficient sunlight persist, the energiser will eventually stop delivering pulses.
However, once sufficient sunlight is received, the battery will recharge and the energiser will
resume normal operation.
Reading voltage
9.
The indicator lights show the voltage at the output terminals of the energiser.
When first connected to the battery (and the Selector switch is set off), all the indicator lights
illuminate for a period of two seconds. Thereafter, if any other switch positions are selected,
the indicator lights display the output voltage at each pulse. This indicates that the energiser is
operating normally.
