DVD Audio-Video/Video CD/CD Basics
Perform these operations with the remote control.
Before performing any operation, check the TV connection setting (= page 39) .
Operations vary according to the disc. For details, refer to the guide provided with the disc.

Insert the disc
(It takes a few seconds to load the disc after the
panel opens. If you force to insert the disc by
hand, the disc may be damaged.)
e The panel closes and the disc begins playing.
e The type of disc is automatically discriminated.
Removing a disc
Press
Cautions:
e Do not obstruct the opening/closing of the panel.
e When the panel is fully open (no sound is output), do
not apply excessive pressure to the panel or push
hard on the buttons on the panel.
Select the disc mode
(Example: "DVD AUDIO")
