SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR CORDLESS ANGLE GRINDERS
personal protective equipment. fragments of workpiece
or of a broken accessory may fly away and cause injury
beyond immediate area of operation.
• Watch out for flying sparks. hold the tool so
that sparks fly away from you and other persons or
flammable materials.
• Do not leave the tool running. Operate the
tool only when hand-held.
• Never lay the tool down until the accessory
has come to a complete stop. the spinning
accessory may grab the surface and pull the power tool
out of your control.
• Do not touch the workpiece immediately
after operation; it may be extremely hot and could burn
your skin.
• ALWAYS wear proper apparel including long
sleeve shirts, leather gloves and shop aprons to protect
skin from contact with hot grindings.
• Wear eye and hearing protection. always
use safety glasses with side shields. unless otherwise
specified, everyday glasses provide only limited impact
resistance, they are not safety glasses. use only certified
