Overview
The model MOR-IF710 (this unit) is a closed type, cordless stereo headset. By
using infrared rays generated from an infrared transmitter (not supplied), this
unit allows you to fisten to audio visual (AV) equipment free from the
restrictions of a headphones cord.
In addition, you can use the Dolby C NR (noise reduction) function to reduce
hissing.
Usable AV equipment
You can use equipment that has one of the following jacks:
—LINE output jack, or
—HEADPHONE jack
Usable transmitters
You can use the following transmitters:
= IF 10K infrared transmitter, or
—a transmutter of one of the following cordtess headphones systems:
MDR-IFS10K, MOR-IF710K, or MOR-IFSK.
* The Dolby C NR function cannot be used with the transmitter of the
MDR-IFSK.
Note
It you use this unit too far from the emitter, you may hear a hissing sound.
Also, if an object is between this unit and the emitter, the sound of the
unit may be interrupted. These phenomena are inherent to infrared-ray
communication and do not mean that this unit is maifunctioning.

When using the Dolby C NR (noise reduction) function, set this switch and
the SOUND MODE switch on the transmitter to A. The Dolby C NR
function reduces hissing.
* If you are using the transmitter of the MOR-IFSK cordless headphones
system, set this switch to B(OFF); you cannot use the Dolby C NA
function with the transmitter of the MDR-IFSK.
[5] POWER switch and indicator
Press to turn on the power of this unit. When the power is turned on, the
ted indicator lights up. To turn the power off, press it again. When the
power is on for more than three hours, the power switch automatically
turns off to prevent battery drainage.
