may impair the function of the product. Cleaning
may only be carried out when there are no con-
sumers connected. Any connected consumer must
be unplugged before cleaning. During cleaning, the
hinged lid of the wall socket must be closed. The in-
ternal contact parts are protected by the hinged lid
and do not usually need to be cleaned.
Maintenance
In accordance with national regulations, the product
must be regularly checked for defects and proper
function by a qualified electrician. If faults occur
during normal use, it may be necessary to call in a
qualified electrician to rectify the fault.

Danger of electric shock
The product may only be opened for fault correc-
tion by a qualified electrician.
The following fault correction work may only be car-
ried out by a qualified electrician.
Fault example 1: Consumer does not switch on.
Fault correction
u First check the fuse protection of the supply
cable to the wall socket.
u If the fuse protection of the supply cable is in or-
der, open the wall socket.
u Turn the rotary switch to the "ON" position.
u Check the power supply on the circuit breaker.
u Check the wiring and conductor connections on
the socket and switch.
Fault example 2: The rotary switch cannot be
turned fully to the "ON" position and the interlock
does not close.
Fault correction
u Pull out the inserted plug and insert it again as
far as it will go.

u For the wall socket with protection class IP67
(wall socket with lockable hinged lid), fully
tighten the bayonet ring of the inserted plug.
u Check the rotary switch and/or circuit breaker
for dirt and clean if necessary.
u Pull out the inserted plug and check for dirt or
damage.
The plugs and sockets must not be dirty or dam-
aged. Dirty plugs and sockets must be cleaned;
damaged plugs and sockets must be replaced.
Final decommissioning and disposal
DANGER
Danger of electric shock
Final decommissioning and dismantling may only
be carried out by a qualified electrician.
The applicable national regulations must be ob-
served when disposing of the product. The product
must not be disposed of in normal household
waste; it must be taken to a recycling or disposal fa-
cility.
u Contact a waste disposal company or a public
collection point for electrical waste.
