HOW TO USE YOUR KETTLE
BEFORE USING YOUR KETTLE
Remove all packing materials, any stickers from the kettle and
•
power base.
Wash all parts as instructed in CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•
section.
Select a level surface where this unit is to be used allowing
•
enough space for steam to escape without damage to counters,
cabinets and walls.
Fill the kettle to 'MAX' level and boil. The boiled water should
•
be discarded and the kettle rinsed out with cold water. Repeat
the boil and rinse steps for at least twice to remove any
manufacturing dust, etc.
Kettle is now ready for use.
•
Note: The kettle only operates when placed on the base with the ON/
OFF button in the ON position. The kettle automatically shuts
off when water has boiled or there is no water in the kettle.
IMPORTANT
• Do NOT fill the kettle with any substance other than water.
• Do NOT operate the kettle without water.
• Do NOT operate the kettle without the filter in place.
• Do NOT overfill the kettle. (Keep water level below the max fill
line on the water window.)
FILLING THE KETTLE
Remove the kettle from the base.
•
Open the lid by pulling the lid knob straight up.
•
Make sure the removable filter is in place.
•
Do not fill with less than the MIN water level to prevent the kettle
•
running dry while operating; misuse of this kind will shorten the
