Instalación
The extractor hood must not be installed or connected to flues in which other non-electrically powered
appliances (water heaters, cookers, cookers, etc.) are installed.
Choose the right ventilation
There are two ventilation modes: Extract air mode and recirculation mode, so choose one of them before
installation.
Extract mode
Air is exhausted out of the dwelling through a pipe.
Recirculation mode
The air is purified and exhausted into the house.
The wall unit requires an air outlet.
An active carbon filter must always be used in the hood. Please note that using activated carbon filters
will reduce the suction capacity of the hood.
Recirculation mode
Sufficient air is required for safe combustion and evacuation of gases through the chimney of the com-
bustion plant to prevent backflow. Ductless fans should always be vented to the open air.
- When assessing the air pressure, the entire ventilation system of the house/apartment must be taken
into account, e.g. on hotplates and/or gas stove this rule does not apply.
- The legal regulations for the exhaust air duct must be observed. If the cooker hood is used in air circu-
lation mode with active carbon filter, there are no operating restrictions.
- If you choose the air extraction mode, there are two ventilation methods, which include "horizontal
ventilation" and "vertical ventilation". Use the tools to remove the cover before use and install the check
valve in the hole. The square air check valve for horizontal venting is not supplied.
