MAINTENANCE
AFTER EACH USE
1. Fill the sprayer part way with water and pump the water out through
the boom assembly and the spray wand. Use the spray wand to
wash the inside of the tank.
2. Refill the tank about half full with water and a chemical neutralizer
solution and repeat the cleaning instructions above. Follow the
manufacturers instructions for disposal of all chemicals.
AS NEEDED
1. Periodically clean the tank strainer on the end of the intake hose.
Remove the nylon swivel nut from the hose, pull out the screen and
flush with water.
2. Periodically clean the strainers in the boom nozzles. Remove the
nozzle, pull out the screen and flush with water.
WINTER STORAGE
1. Empty and rinse tank.
2. Put one to two gallons of water in tank.
3. Engage pump and spray with boom and spray wand. Ensure that
the water has been pumped through entire system, including all
spray nozzles.
4. Run the pump dry for no more then 10 seconds.
5. Store sprayer in a dry location away from elements
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Irregular spray pattern
Spray pressure in boom

Solution
•
If spray pattern is not aligned with
the boom, loosen the spray tip nut,
rotate spray tip and retighten nut.
•
If spray tip(s) exhibit an ununiform
spray pattern, clean spray tip and
strainer with clean water.

Clean tank strainer (refer to
maintenance section)
•
Ensure boom valve is fully open for
boom use and closed for spray wand
use
To prime pump
1. Open boom valve or spray wand
handle.
2. Pull intake hose out of tank lid and
remove strainer.
3. Fill hose with water, re-attach
strainer and turn on pump.
4. When water begins to spray place
intake hose back in sump at bottom
of tank.
5. Repeat if needed.
Check sprayer for leaks and repair as
needed.
