braking / locking
Pull both brake levers upward to apply the brakes while the rollator is in motion
(figure 10). Always brake slowly and steadily. While the rollator is stationary, push
the brake lever down one position (figure 11) to engage the slow down brake. Push the
brake lever down two positions (figure 12) to engage the parking brake. To disengage
the locked brake, grip the brake lever and lift it upward until it audibly clicks into
place, indicating it is now released. Releasing the locking brake may be easier with
the use of both hands. Hold the handle with one hand while using the other hand to
raise the brake lever.

slow down brake function
ENGAGING THE SLOW DOWN FUNCTION:
While the rollator is stationary, push both brake levers down one position from the
free-rolling position into the slow-down position. The slow down position is defined on
the rollator with a yellow symbol (figure 13). An audible 'click' confirms the slow down
brake is engaged. Once engaged, the slow down brake provides resistance by slightly
applying the brakes. This resistance can be adjusted based on user preference, ability
and terrain.
