18.3.2 Estado de la batería
El icono de estado de la batería se encuentra en la esquina inferior derecha de la pantalla. Este icono se muestra en todo momento
cuando el MFT-X1 está encendido. Cuando el equipo está encendido, el icono indica el estado de carga.
El estado de la batería del MFT-X1:
Si la batería está muy baja, la última celda de la batería se volverá roja. Es posible que no se permita efectuar medidas en este
estado. Es necesario cargar la batería.
NOTA: La marca de fecha y hora, así como los cambios en los ajustes y los modos de medida, se mantienen mediante
una pila de botón de iones de litio y no es necesario volver a configurarlos cuando se extraiga la batería.
NOTA: Algunas medidas consumen mucho más que otras. Con niveles bajos de la batería, algunas medidas pueden
quedar inhibidas, como las medidas de aislamiento, mientras que otras pueden seguir funcionando, como la medición
de tensión.
18.3.3 Battery pack – removal and replacement
The Li-Ion battery pack will need charging before you use it for the first time. It is charged outside the instrument.
ADVERTENCIA: The Megger Li-ion battery pack must ONLY be charged using the approved Megger battery charger
MBC2100. These chargers are regulated for the Megger battery pack with internal charge control and thermal
protection. Using any other charger can be dangerous and may damage the battery.
The battery pack must be removed from the instrument for charging.
No tools are needed to remove the battery pack from the instrument.
To remove and replace the pack:
1. Turn the left-hand rotary knob to the off position.
2. Disconnect the test-leads from the instrument.
3. Pull apart the two spring loaded catches on the bottom of the instrument. The battery pack will pop up slightly and is now
free to remove.
4. Charge the battery pack with the MBC2100 battery charger.
5. When charged, insert the battery pack into the instrument and push the battery pack fully home. The retaining clips will
automatically click into place.
