Glue Gun Safety
WARNING: Always use safety goggles and work in a well-ventilated area when using this device.
WARNING: Do not touch the Nozzle (7) or the molten adhesive. Both will be extremely HOT during,
and for some time, after use.
WARNING: Noxious and irritating fumes may be released from heating Glue Sticks (1). Molten
material may cause burns.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be
made by children without supervision.
• Only use Glue Sticks of the correct size (11.2 x 100mm) for this product
• Insert Glue Stick before connecting to mains power supply
• Never leave a glue gun unattended, always disconnect from power supply
• The hot nozzle must never come into contact with flammable materials such as paper, cardboard,
plastic, wood etc.

Intended Use
Electric hot melt glue gun, using conventional glue sticks, for craft and hobby use.
Not intended for commercial use.
The tool must ONLY be used for its intended purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in this
manual will be considered a case of misuse. The operator, and not the manufacturer, shall be liable for
any damage or injury resulting from such cases of misuse. The manufacturer shall not be liable for any
modifications made to the tool, nor for any damage resulting from such modifications.
Unpacking Your Tool
• Carefully unpack and inspect your tool. Fully familiarise yourself with all its features and functions
• Ensure that all parts of the tool are present and in good condition. If any parts are missing or
damaged, have such parts replaced before attempting to use this tool
Before Use
WARNING: Ensure the tool is disconnected from the power supply before attaching or changing any
accessories, or making any adjustments.
1. Attach Stand (6) to the glue gun using the Mounting Points (5)
2. Insert a Glue Stick (1) into the rear of the tool. Push forward until slight resistance is felt
Operation
WARNING: Always place the glue gun on its Stand (6) when not in use. Ensure that the nozzle
cannot cause any damage to surrounding materials.
1. Ensure tool is positioned on a stable horizontal surface
2. Plug tool into mains power supply
Note: The glue gun will automatically switch on when it is plugged into the mains.
3. Wait 5-7 minutes for the tool to reach its normal operating temperature
4. Gently squeeze the Trigger (4) to advance the Glue Stick (1) and expel molten adhesive
5. Release the Trigger to stop
6. Once gluing is complete, place tool upright on a flat surface
7. Unplug the tool from the mains power supply
Notes:
• Do not attempt to remove Glue Stick (1). Any unused Glue Stick can remain in the tool
• Always practice applying adhesive to scrap materials until confident
• As with all adhesives, performance depends on atmospheric conditions of the work area.
Recommendations are for guidance only; actual conditions of use will vary
• Ensure surfaces to be bonded are dry, free from dust, grease and loose particles
• Apply adhesive to one surface only. Bring the two surfaces together immediately. Hold the joint
together for 20-30 seconds to complete the bond
• When gluing different materials, apply the adhesive to the least porous material
• On cold materials, a better bond can be achieved by pre-warming before applying adhesive
• Applying adhesive in wavy lines is recommended when gluing textiles or similar materials
• Surplus adhesive can be trimmed with a sharp knife when cooled
• Do not attempt to force Glue Sticks through with excessive use or force of the Trigger (4). Under and
over-heated glue can cause the glue gun to break and cause injury and burns to the user

Cleaning
• Keep your tool clean at all times. Dirt and dust will cause internal parts to wear quickly, and shorten
the machine's service life
• Clean the body of your machine with a soft brush, or dry cloth.
• Clean the tool casing with a soft damp cloth using a mild detergent. Do not use alcohol, petrol or
strong cleaning agents
• Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts
Storage
• Ensure all parts of tool are completely cool before storing. Never wrap the power cord around a tool
that has not completely cooled
• Store this tool carefully in a secure, dry place out of the reach of children
