CLEANING OF THE REFRIGERANT
General measures:
1.
Gas/steam heavier than air. Can accumulate in the tightest of
spaces, especially on or under the ground.
2.
Eliminate all possible sources of ignition.
3.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
4.
Evacuate unneeded personnel, isolate and ventilate the area.
5.
Do not allow to get into the eyes, on the skin or on the clothes. Do
not inhale vapours or gas.
6.
Prevent intrusion into sewerage and public waters.
7.
Stop the source of the publication if this is possible without danger.
Consider using spray water to distribute vapors.
8.
Insulate the area until the gas has dispersed. Before entering,
ventilate the area and test gas. In case of spillage, contact the
competent authorities.
