Hardware Installation
1.
Turn off your PC and unplug the power cord.
2.
Open the housing.
3.
Remove the slot holder from the available PCI Express slot.
4.
Insert the card straight and carefully into the free PCI Express slot,
until it is well seated.
5.
Use a screw to attach the card to the housing.
6.
Reattach the housing and connect the power cord to the AC adapter.
7.
Switch on your computer.
Jumper Configuration
The PCI Express card is especially designed to provide power output from the
first and ninth pin of the DB9 connector for devices that support power over serial.
This allows you to set each port with 5 V, 12 V or no power by setting the jumper
accordingly. The PCI Express card must be connected to you power supply.
Driver Installation
1.
Switch on your computer.
2.
Put the driver CD in the CD ROM drive.
3.
The CD will start automatically. Click on "Run autorun.exe".
4.
Click on "Driver-Installation".
5.
Click on "PCI Express".
6.
Now select the appropriate operating system.
7.
Follow the instructions of the driver installation.
8.
Click on "Finish".
9.
You can now start to use the device.
10. Restart your PC.
11. After restart you can start using the device immediately.
