Problem
Vehicle runs slowly

Solution
Charge the battery. A new battery should be
charged before using the vehicle. Recharge the
battery after each use. Never charge the battery
longer than 24 hours.
Charge battery after each use.

Make sure you don't exceed weight capacity of 81lbs.
(36.8 kg) or tow objects.
Use vehicle only on level ground.
Check all wires and connections that they are tight.

Vehicle has two speeds, low and high, both
controlled by an adult. Change to high speed.
Make sure vehicle is in the upright position.
Make sure middle wheels, one on each side in the
middle of vehicle are properly assembled and
engaging the motor. To further check, lift vehicle
up and depress pedal, both wheels should spin. If
you are still experiencing problems, contact Step2

Check all wires and connections that they are tight.
