Steaming vegetables
∙ Fill the measuring cup to the top with cold
water and empty it into the water bowl.
∙ Put the bracket with inserts fi tted onto the
water bowl.
∙ Clean the vegetables (caulifl ower, broccoli,
carrots, mushrooms etc.) and cut them into
small pieces.
∙ Distribute them evenly into the inserts and
close the lid.
∙ Turn the boiling-time control to position
(crunchy) or
(soft), according to taste.
∙ Insert the plug into a suitable wall socket
and use the On/Off switch to turn the egg
boiler on. The indicator light comes on
and the appliance starts heating up
∙ A beep is heard once the pre-set cooking
time has elapsed.
∙ Switch off the appliance. The indicator
light goes out. Remove the plug from the
wall socket.
∙ Take off the lid. Caution: beware of
escaping steam.
∙ Remove the bracket and inserts from the
bowl.
Cleaning and care
∙ Always remove the plug from the wall
socket, allow the appliance to cool down
and pour out any remaining water before
cleaning.
∙ To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
clean the appliance with water and do not
immerse it in water.
∙ To prevent the surfaces from being
damaged or scratched, do not use
abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
∙ Wipe the water bowl with a damp cloth
only.
∙ Any build-up of deposits on the water
bowl can be removed using a solution of

water and vinegar. Then let the appliance
run through one boiling cycle using fresh
cold water to clean it of any vinegar
residue.
∙ Rinse the inserts, bracket and lid, and wipe
thoroughly dry afterwards.

the instructions, and provided that it has not

This guarantee naturally does not cover
wear and tear, nor breakables such as
glass and ceramic items, bulbs etc. This
guarantee does not affect your statutory
rights, nor any legal rights you may have
as a consumer under applicable national
legislation governing the purchase of goods.
