GENERAL
Please read these instructions carefully.
The manual does not cover a course on security policies. For your safety,
gain experience in handling and operation before your first paddling
trip. Obtain information about water sports schools or attend courses if
necessary. Make sure that the wind and sea conditions forecast is suitable
for your paddleboard and that you can use it under these conditions.
Please inform yourself about local regulations or special approvals in each
country before commissioning. Always maintain your paddleboard properly.
Any paddleboard, no matter how thick it is, can be seriously damaged by
improper use. Consider the swell when setting speed and steering the
board. Every user of the board should wear a suitable buoyancy aid (life-
jacket).
Please note that in some countries it is mandatory to wear a buoyancy aid
that complies with national regulations. Please keep this manual in a safe
place and hand it over to the new owner when selling.
CAUTION: FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THE SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND THE
INFORMATION IN THE MANUAL OR THE PRODUCT MAY RESULT IN INJURY
OR, IN EXTREME CASES, DEATH.
•
Check the maximum load capacity of the board and stick to it.
•
Always wear a Coast Guard approved lifebuoy.
•
Do not inflate with a compressor.
•
Do not go paddling alone.
•
Never go paddling in bad weather or heavy seas when steering or
returning to shore is difficult.
•
Always wear a safety leash (only included as an option). Wind and
currents may cause the board to drift faster.
