INSTALLING COOK PLATES

1. Place the Waffle Maker on a sturdy, flat, level surface. Open the lid.
2. Place 2 clean cook plates, cooking-side-up, on a working surface near the Waffle
Maker.
NOTE: PLATES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE, AND CAN BE INSTALLED IN
EITHER UPPER OR LOWER POSITION.
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS INSTALL UPPER AND LOWER PLATES WITH COOK-
SIDES-UP.
3. Grasp the clean upper plate with tabs facing down. Fully insert the 2 tabs into
the 2 brackets and press the upper plate into the body until it snaps securely into
place. (See Figure 3.)
4. Grasp the clean lower plate with tabs facing inward. Fully insert the 2 tabs into
the 2 brackets and press the lower plate into the body until it snaps securely into
place. (See Figure 4.)
5. Keep Waffle Maker closed until ready to use.
