Cooling
1.
Place the appliance on a firm, flat surface.
2.
Make sure that the tube is connected to the
pump and that all of the appliance's buttons and
switches are in neutral position.
3.
Make sure that the power switch is in the Off
("O") position and connect the plug to the outlet.
4.
To optimize the cooling, open the water tank
and place the gel container in the device
horizontally.
5.
Add water, but do not surpass the maximum
water level.
6.
Set the power switch to the "I" position On and
choose the desired speed.
7.
You can alternate between the product's
different speeds and functions.
8.
To turn the appliance off, press the "Off" button.
9.
Set the power switch on the back of the product
to "O" (Off).
Heating
The appliance may emit odors the first
IMPORTANT:
few times it is used, especially if it was stored for a
long period of time. This is normal; the odors will go
away soon and this does not indicate a problem with
the product.
Keep the appliance in a well-ventilated area during
the first few uses.
1.
Turn the dial on the side of the appliance to
"Heating" mode.
2.
Make sure that the power switch is in the Off
"O" position and connect the plug to the outlet.
3.
Set the power switch to the On "—" position in
order to turn on the appliance.
4.
Hot air will begin to flow from the front of the
appliance.
5.
Activate the "low/high" mode found on the back
of the product (just below the power switch).
6.
To turn the appliance off, set the power switch
to the Off "O" position.
Oscillation Button (For both Heating and
Cooling)
Press the "Oscillate" button so that the vertical
louvers oscillate and cause the air to distribute more
evenly throughout the environment. To deactivate
the oscillation function and cause the louvers to stop
moving, press the button again.
Note: If you wish to move the appliance and there
is water in the tank, unplug the cord and move the
device carefully so that no water spills out. It is
recommended that you remove the tank and empty
the water before moving the appliance.
Warning!
Do not remove the filter while the appliance is
running. Do not add water to the device while it is
running. Always unplug the cord before adding water.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Warning! Before cleaning the device or performing
maintenance, turn off the appliance and disconnect
the plug from the outlet.
Do not use solvents or abrasive materials (such as
wire or scrub brushes) to clean the appliance. These
products could damage the device.
To clean the appliance:
•
Make sure that all controls are turned off.
•
Dust with a clean, dry cloth.
•
Clean the appliance's casing with a soft, damp
cloth.
•
To empty the water tank, pull it away from the
device carefully, disconnect the pump, and
remove the tank. Dispose of the water.
•
To clean the device, use a clean, damp cloth
and a few drops of detergent; rinse well and
empty the device.
Note: It is important to change the water in the tank
at least once per week.
To clean the honeycomb filter:
•
Remove the air filter's screen.
•
Remove the honeycomb filter.
•
Clean with water (use only water; do not clean
with any chemical product).
•
Once it has been allowed to air dry, place it
back inside the appliance.
•
Return the air filter's screen.
Maintenance:
•
Maintain the product in good working order.
When it is not being used, turn the appliance
off, unplug it, and keep it in a safe, dry place
that is out of reach of children and pets,
preferably in its original packaging.
•
You should not twist or wrap the power cord
around the appliance. Doing so may cause the
cord's internal conductors to break.
•
If the cord is wound, unwind it before using the
product.
