PICKUPS
The output level of the instrument as well
as the quality of the signal can be affected
by the pickup height. Pickup height should
be adjusted until the volume of neck and
bridge pickups are almost equal with both
volumes wide open. The volume may drop
drastically if the pickup height is too low.
As the pickups are magnetic, fret buzzing
and distortion may occur if the pickup is
too close to the strings. Use a small screwdriver to make adjustments to raise or lower the pickup.
*Instruments that have adjustable pole pieces can be adjusted to balance the output of each string.
BATTERY
For guitars with Pre-Amps or EQs, please use 006P (9V) or AA (1.5V) high-quality batteries according to your
guitar's specifications. Batteries are located either in a battery box or inside the control cavity of your instrument.
Old batteries or batteries with a low-charge should be replaced as they can cause poor sound performance
including low volume and unwanted distortion.
The output plug of your instrument also acts as power switch for the battery: when a guitar cable is plugged in,
the battery will be connected and then disconnected when the guitar cable is unplugged from the output jack.
Attention
If your guitar or bass requires two batteries, do not use a new battery and with an old battery together. Do not use any
combination of different battery types such as an alkaline battery with a carbon battery, or alkaline battery with a
rechargeable battery, etc.
Unplug your instrument when not in use for extended periods. For the longest battery life and to prevent battery fluid
leakage, which could damage your instrument, always unplug your cable from your guitar or bass when it will be
unplayed for long periods of time.
To avoid unwanted noise and possible speaker, electronics or hearing damage, always turn the volume control to the
off position ("0") on your amp or any device your instrument is connected to when unplugging the cable from the
output jack of your guitar or bass.
* The non-alkaline battery(s) your instrument may come with is for circuit testing purposes only and should be replaced.

GIBRALTAR CUSTOM BRIDGE
The height adjustment can be adjusted by 4 pcs of 2.0mm of allen screws (B) on the
bridge. Since the adjustment screws are locked by the bridge lock screw (A), you must
loosen the bridge lock screw by 3.0mm Allen wrench before adjustment.
Each saddle is also locked by a saddle lock screw (C). To adjust the intonation, use a
2.0mm Allen wrench to loosen the saddle locke screws, and then adjust the Intonation
screw (D) by a 2.0mm Allen wrench. When you are finished with the adjustment, lock the
saddle and tune the guitar.
* The same should be applied for the seven string version.
