Adjusting the headband width (fig. D)
Using the rotary control you can vary the adjustment of the helmet to
fit your head size so as to guarantee optimal fit of the helmet.
Rotate the wheel to the right to set the helmet headband tighter, and
to the left to loosen the headband.
Adjusting the headband height (fig. E)
The height of the headband system can be set individually. There
are 2 different height settings possible. Pull the connecting pin of the
headband system out of the snap-in points on the EPS shell. You can
now engage the pins of the headband system higher or lower in the
remaining snap-in points. Press the pins into the points until they snap
in audibly and perceptibly. Both pins must be engaged.
Top piece assembly/disassembly (fig. F)
Assembly should be performed by an adult! Assemble the top piece
as follows:
1. Insert one half of the top piece peg (8a) into the ventilation
hole (2).
2. Press the other half of the top piece peg into the ventilation hole in
the same way and rotate the top piece at the same time with
pressure on the helmet.
Note: We recommend using a blunt pencil or something
similar as a tool with which to press in the top piece.
