TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will
do the job better and more safely at the rate
that it was designed to work at.
Do not use tools if switch does not turn it on
or off. Any tool that cannot be controlled with
the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source
before making any adjustments, changing ac-
cessories or storing the tool. This preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of accidental
starting of the tool.
When the power tool is not in use, store it out
of the reach of children, and do not allow in-
dividuals who are not familiar with the power
tool or these instructions to operate it. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands on untrained
users.
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the power tool. If it is damaged,
have it repaired before using. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.

that may affect the tools operation. If you find
a damaged tool, take it to service before use it.
Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer of your model. Suitable ac-
cessories for one tool, may become hazardous

Keep cutting tools, sharpened and clean. Cut-
ting tools in good condition with sharpened
edges, are less likely to stuck in workpieces or
easier to control.
Is recommendable to use a safety device suit-
able, such a thermal and diferential switch
when you are using an electric equipment.

SERVICE
Tool service must be performed only by quali-
fied repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified personnel could re-
sult in a risk of injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
ELECTRIC TRIMMER
1. Use extreme caution when placing the
guard, as it has a blade for cutting the nylon
line.
2. Do not place the blade above the level of
the feet pointing straight ahead or to animals
while operating.
3. If the trimmer starts to vibrate abnormally,
stop using it and take it to the nearest autho-
rized service center.
4. Be careful when you turn the trimmer off,
once off the cutting head continues to rotate
for a while more.
5. Remove stones, sticks and elements outside
the work area before starting the operation.
Failure to follow this indication, will cause
some element to fly toward the operator by
the speed of the nylon.
6. Do not run when using the trimmer.
7. Do not use the tool in any application other
than what it was intended.
8. In hills, cut on the circumference of the hill
and never in the direction from top to bottom.
9. Never replace the nylon with a metal wire.
10. Never use the tool when weather condi-
tions are not adequate, never operate in the
rain or extreme humidity.
11. Use the trimmer in daylight or with good
artificial light. Never use when visibility is poor.
12. Do not exceed operations or force the tool.
