The contents of feeding bottles and baby food jars shall be stirred or shaken and the temperature checked
before consumption, in order to avoid burns.
IMPORTANT: Eggs in their shell and whole hard-boiled eggs should not be heated in microwave ovens since
they may explode, even after microwave heating has ended.
Do not allow the accumulation of dirty, residues of food or of cleaning products on the door, door seals, inner
cavity and the outer surfaces. Clean all areas with a soft, slightly damp and then wipe with a clean dry cloth.
Clean the appliance regularly from dust or any food residue.
Failure to maintain the microwave oven in a clean condition could lead to deterioration of the surface that
could adversely affect the life of the appliance and possibly result in a hazardous situation.
This appliance was designed for free installation and not to be built-in.
To avoid fire hazards, never place the appliance in narrow spaces and with insufficient air flow, and make
sure the minimum installation distances are respected: 10 cm between the appliance's rear part and the wall;
20 cm above the appliance's top; and 5 cm on each side of the appliance.
This appliance was not design to be operated with remote controls or external timers.
PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
WARNING: Do not attempt to operate this appliance with the door open since open-door operation can result
in harmful exposure to microwave energy. It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow dirt or cleaner residue to
accumulate on sealing surfaces.
WARNING: Never use this appliance when the safety mechanisms, the glass door or the door sealing are not
working in perfect function conditions, have been disconnected or modified in any way. The exposure to the
microwave radiations is harmful and can cause severe burns to the user.
WARNING: Never disassemble or undertake any repairs on the appliance, and especially never open its
casing since it operates with high tension power. By failing to observe this rule, you risk your safety and the
warranty may become invalid. If the interior light of the appliance needs to be changed, go to the store where
you bought the appliance or to a qualified technician to make the substitution without risks to the user.
Note: the appliance's exterior casing must never be removed.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
After unpacking the appliance, check that it is undamaged and that no parts are missing. If you have any
doubts, consult the Customer Support Line. All packaging ex. plastic bags, styrofoam, tape, etc., should be
kept away from reach of children, as it could be dangerous and cause suffocation. Only use accessories
recommended by the manufacturer and those provided with the appliance, otherwise they could constitute a
danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
WARNING: Inspect the appliance to check if it suffered transportation damages, such as unaligned or bent
glass door, damages on the hinges or security locks, damages on the glass door sealing, crumples or
fissures. If the appliance has suffered any kind of damage, do not use it and go to the store where it was
bought or to a qualified technician for repairs.
This appliance is exclusively for domestic use and specifically to heat, prepare and defrost food. Any other
use must be considered improper and therefore dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for
any injuries or damage resulting from improper use.
WARNING: Do not operate this appliance if it is damaged, if it is not working properly or if detected any
damaged on the supply cord or plug. If is detected any damage or any malfunction, remove the plug from the
wall socket and goes to the store where you bought the appliance or to a qualified technician, in order to
repair the appliance or replace supply cord. Assure that only original parts or components are used.
This appliance is not for industrial or laboratory use and it must never be used to heat chemical or other non-
food products.
To avoid fire accidents or electrical shocks, make sure that no fluids enter in contact with the appliance's
electrical parts or with the supply cord. Do not expose the appliance to humidity, do not use it outdoors and
keep it away from any objects filled with fluids, such as washbasins, vases, flowerpots, etc. If any fluid
accidentally spills on the appliance, immediately remove the plug from the wall socket and go to the store
where the appliance was bought or get it repaired by a qualified technician.
For safety reasons this appliance must be connected to an earthed wall socket. If the wall socket does not
have an earth connection, it is the client's responsibility to substitute it for a wall socket with earth connection.
