Safety

Correct use
• The device may be used to meter only liquids.
• The device may be used only in accordance with the technical
data and specifications given in the Operating Instructions
Manual.
• All other uses and modifications are prohibited.
• The device is not suitable for metering gaseous chemicals or
solids.
• The device is not suitable for metering flammable chemicals.
• The device may not be used outdoors without additional
protection (outer casing, weatherproof cover). Direct sunlight
can cause the housing to degrade.
• The device must be operated by suitably trained and authorised
personnel.
Safety guidelines
CAUTION
• The device has no on/off switch. It starts to operate as soon
as it is connected to a power supply.
• Before working on the device, depressurise hydraulic parts,
empty, and rinse if it has been used with dangerous or
unknown chemicals.
Safety equipment
The transparent liquid end cover ensures that nobody may reach
into the rotor while it is running and prevents chemicals leaking in
the event that the hose ruptures.

Storage/Transport

CAUTION
• Transport and store the device in the original packaging.
• Additionally, protect the packed device from damp or the
effects of chemicals.
