To cancel the Secure Link function
For the Bar Speaker
Select [Off] on Step 3 above.
For the subwoofer or the surround
speakers
Press and hold SECURE LINK on the rear of
the subwoofer or the surround speakers
for several seconds until the on/standby
indicator on the subwoofer or the
surround speakers turns green or flashes
in green.
Be sure to press SECURE LINK with the
point of a pen, etc.
Selecting the Frequency Band
[RF Band]
You can select the frequency band.

Select [Wireless Sound Connection]
in
[System Settings] (page 39).

Select [RF Band].

Select the setting you want.
• [Auto]: Normally select this. The system
automatically selects the strongest
frequency band for transmission.
• [5.2GHz], [5.8GHz]: The system
transmits sound according to the
selected frequency band.
Tip
• We recommend you to set [RF Band] to
[Auto].

Calibrating the
Appropriate Speaker
Settings Automatically
(Auto Calibration)
D.C.A.C. DX (Digital Cinema Auto
Calibration DX) brings you the ideal sound
experience by automatically adjusting the
setting of the speakers' distance,
location, and acoustic.
Notes
• The system outputs a loud test sound when
[Auto Calibration] starts. You cannot turn
the volume down. Give consideration to
children and neighbors.
• Before [Auto Calibration], make sure that
– the Bar Speaker, subwoofer and surround
speakers are turned on

Press HOME.
The home menu appears on the TV
screen.

The speaker layout display appears.

Connect the calibration mic to the
A.CAL MIC (ECM-AC3) jack on the
rear of the Bar Speaker.
Set up the calibration mic at ear level
using a tripod, etc. (not supplied). The
calibration mic should aim the TV
screen. The front of each speaker
should face the calibration mic, and
there should be no obstruction
between the speakers and the
calibration mic.
