Basic operation

Switching the camcorder on and off

 Open the display to activate the camcorder. The camcorder will
switch on. You can also press the ON/OFF button to switch on the
camcorder. The video LED will shine.
 Press the ON/OFF button or simply close the display to switch off
the camcorder. The video LED will go out.

Automatic switching off

The camcorder will switch itself off automatically if no entry has been
made for longer than three minutes and no recording is running.
