When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR OSTER
SYSTEM.
1. DO NOT touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
2. To protect against fire, electric shock or injuries, DO NOT immerse cord, plug or
appliance in water or other liquids.
3. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow it to cool
completely before putting on or taking off accessories and before cleaning.
4. Plug it into the electrical outlet. To disconnect, press the Power
unit off, then remove plug from electric outlet.
5. DO NOT position this appliance directly under an electrical socket.
6. DO NOT operate this appliance if power cord or plug are damaged or if the
appliance malfunctions, is dropped or has been damaged in any manner. Take it
to the nearest Authorized Oster
mechanical adjustment.
7. The use of accessories or attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may result in fire, electric shock or personal injuries.
8. DO NOT use outdoors.
9. DO NOT let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. DO NOT place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or a heated oven, or
flammable material.
11. A short power cord has been provided in order to reduce the risk resulting from
becoming entangled or tripping over a long cord.
12. DO NOT use appliance for other than its intended use.
13. When moving the product, DO NOT hold it by the lid or inner pot handles; please
ensure to use the appliance handles.
14. Extreme caution must be used when moving the 5-in-1 Cooking System
containing hot liquids.
15. DO NOT use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or oven cleaners when cleaning
this appliance.
16. Avoid sudden temperature changes such as adding refrigerated foods into a
heated pot.
17. Always unplug the appliance from the electrical socket when not in use and
before cleaning.
18. Allow the appliance to cool before cleaning and storing.
