Operation
Before the first Use
Dispose of any packaging material not required or keep it in a place not accessible
to children. Risk of suffocation!
The dial gauge is not a toy and does not belong in the hands of children.
Please note that the dial gauge is a sensitive precision device that needs to be
handled with due care. Do not expose it to sudden shocks or strong mechanical
influences or magnetic fields and do not let it fall.
Keep the dial gauge dry and do not allow liquids of any kind to penetrate into the
housing.
Switching the Device on and off and zeroing
Mount the dial gauge in the desired position. The dial gauge is supplied with a
second back panel with assembly point. Loosen the mounting screws on the back
panel as necessary using a Phillips screwdriver and replace the back panel.
Switch the dial gauge on using the ON/OFF button (3). Set the zero point by
pressing the ZERO button (4).
Use the mm/inch button (2) to switch the dial gauge to the imperial measuring
system and back.
To switch the device off, press and hold the ON/OFF button (3). The dial gauge
switches off automatically after 5 minutes without use.
The USB port on the dial gauge is only used in the factory for calibration.
Changing the Battery
To change the battery, press the springs on the side of the battery compartment
together and pull out the battery compartment.
Replace the battery with a new 3 V battery CR2032. Ensure the correct polarity,
the positive terminal (+) must be located in the closed side of the compartment and
this must point towards the display side of the dial gauge.
Replace the compartment in the dial gauge.
Do not charge or dismantle batteries, throw them into a fire or short-circuit them.
Only use batteries of the same type and size.
Maintenance and Storage
Do not use aggressive chemicals, solvents or abrasives to clean the device. Do not
immerse the device in any type of liquids and do not allow liquids to penetrate into
the housing.
Store the device in the box supplied in a place protected from direct sunlight, dust,
