6.1 Function

The linear unit is used for linear processing and positioning. The slides are driven into their
positions by a tapped spindle or toothed belt drive. This motion can be effected manually with a
handwheel or by an electric drive. Depending on the version, the slides are guided without any
play on rail sections or steel guide shafts with rollers.

6.2 Versions / Guidance concept

This linear unit is available in the versions and guidance versions given here.

Inspect the linear unit for possible damage and missing components immediately on receipt.

Notify RK Rose+Krieger GmbH of any faults found immediately.
The linear unit is delivered ready for operation, but without a control system and without
accessories.
