6.3 ENERGY SAVING TIPS
• Install the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated room away from heat sources (radiator, cooking surface and so
on) and in a position out of direct sunlight.
• Follow the installation instructions to ensure adequate ventilation. Insufficient ventilation to the back of the
appliance causes an increase in energy consumption and reduces cooling efficiency.
• The internal temperature of the appliance depends on the room temperature, how often the doors are
opened and where the appliance is placed. These factors have to be taken into account when setting the
thermostat. Only open the doors when strictly necessary.
• Let hot food and drink cool down before placing them in the appliance.
• The positioning of the shelves in the fridge has no effect on energy efficiency.
• The fridge compartment light system uses a LED light, which at the same time ensures more efficient lighting
and reduced energy consumption.
6.4 POSITIONING
The equipment comes with 4 small, adjustable feet for stabilisation on the floor.
It is strictly necessary after positioning to stabilise the equipment on the ground.
