NOTICE
When the timeout period of approx. 4 minutes is exceeded,
"TMO" (TiMeOut) flashes on the display for approx. 60 seconds.
The remote access box switches back to operation for maintenance.
If one of the two keys is pressed within this period of approx.
60 seconds, the timeout status is lifted, and the display changes to
the last menu option used.
ZE – Calibration of zero-point
 Navigate using the ▲ or ▼ keys until the
display shows "ZE" (ZEro) and enter the menu
by pressing the keys (▲+▼).
The gas transmitter is switched to the special
condition maintenance (and outputs the
configured maintenance signal). In the display, the measured
value currently calculated by the gas transmitter is displayed, and
this is displayed in the configured measured gas unit.
 Apply zero gas to gas transmitter (note appropriate flow!) and wait
until the display has stabilised (typically: 3 minutes).
 Press keys (▲+▼) to save the displayed value as a new zero-point
in the gas transmitter. This completes the zero-point calibration.
"CAL" (CALibration) will then flash on the display for approx.
5 seconds, then the currently measured gas concentration after
the calibration will be shown.
 Press keys (▲+▼) to terminate this function.
The display shows "ZE" again.
 Either press the ▼ key to calibrate the sensitivity, or press the ▲
key to switch back to operation for maintenance.

SP – Calibration of sensitivity
A calibration of the sensitivity can only be performed within
24 hours of a successful zero-point calibration.
 Navigate using the ▲ or ▼ keys until the
display shows "SP" (SPan) and enter the menu
by pressing the keys (▲+▼).
The parameters measured gas "MG",
calibration gas "CG" and calibration gas unit
"CGU" configured on the gas transmitter will appear on the display
one after the other and will need to be confirmed using the keys
(▲+▼). (These parameters cannot be changed at this point.)
 The display shows the calibration gas concentration "CGC"
configured on the gas transmitter, and this is displayed in the
configured calibration gas unit.
 The ▲ or ▼ keys can be used to set the concentration of the
calibration gas currently being used.
 Press keys (▲+▼) to save the set calibration gas concentration
to the gas transmitter.
The gas transmitter is switched to the special condition
maintenance (and outputs the configured maintenance signal).
In the display, the measured value currently calculated by the gas
transmitter is displayed, and this is displayed in the configured
calibration gas unit.
 Apply span gas to gas transmitter (note appropriate flow!) and wait
until the display has stabilised (typically: 3 minutes).
 Press keys (▲+▼) to re-calculate the internal amplification
of the gas transmitter and to save this to the gas transmitter.
This completes the span calibration.
"CAL" (CALibration) will then flash on the display for approx.
5 seconds, then the currently measured gas concentration after
the calibration will be shown.
 Shut off the calibration gas and wait until the display is less than
the alarm threshold set for the system.
