Safety information
This section contains important safety instructions for using
the appliance. This appliance complies with statutory safety
regulations. Improper use may result in personal injury and
property damage.
Before using the appliance, check whether the mains voltage

corresponds to the voltage given on the type/rating plate.
Do not operate the appliance if it has been dropped or is
■
damaged in any way. Have the appliance checked and
repaired by qualified personnel or customer service.
Have damaged power plugs or mains cables replaced
■
immediately by qualified service personnel to avoid hazards.
Pull only on the plug itself when unplugging the appliance,
■
never on the mains cable.
Never bend (kink) or crush the mains cable, always route it in
■
such a way that it cannot come into contact with hot surfaces
and such that no one can step on or trip over it.
Route the mains cable in such a way that it cannot become
■
trapped or damaged in any other way.
Never immerse the appliance base, mains cable or plug
■
in water or other liquids! This could lead to a potentially
fatal electric shock!
Ensure that the mains cable never becomes wet or moist
■
during operation. Never touch the mains cable or the plug
with wet hands.
Do not expose the appliance base to moisture and do not use
■
it outdoors. If any liquid gets into the housing, disconnect the
appliance from the power socket immediately and have it
repaired by a qualified technician.
