Disconnect the machine from the electrical mains and ensure power cannot be switched on again in error.
Remove the lid parts.
Remove the connection box cover plate (Pos. 1), liquid dispenser cover plate (Pos. 2) and intake valves
cover plate (Pos. 3), see Fig. 1.
Note
If the wiring harness ELP 231 29X-X3/4 (external dispenser connection) is fitted, it must be removed.
If the wiring harness EZL 231 54X-X3/3 (peak-load cut-out connection) is fitted, it must be removed.
See Fig. 6, Pos. 1a, Pos. 1b.
Loosen the holding plate holder.
Slide the captive nuts M4 over the holes in the component bracket.
Fasten the electronic module holder including the fitted additional module EZL 230-A to the component
bracket with the bolts M4 x 12.5, see Fig. 2, Pos. 1.
Tighten the holding plate holder.
Fit the adapter EV 230 with 4 spacers on the connection box component bracket, see Fig. 3, Pos. 1.
Connect the adapter EV 230 earth, see Fig. 6, Pos. 5.
Fit the cold water intake valve with 2 bolts M4 x 12.5, see Fig. 4, Pos. 1.
Fit the pressure hose 330 mm and secure it with the hose clips. Take care with the hose position on the
mixer box and the position of the hose clip screws, see Fig. 4, Pos. 2.
If there is no embossed operating instruction information under the cold water intake valve, then attach the
operating instruction information sticker from the outside under the cold water intake valve.
Modify the existing plug connections as follows:
Disconnect plug ELP 231 - 20X and fit it in socket (module 1, liquid dispensing 1 - 6) EZL 230-A - 48X,
see Fig. 6, Pos. 2a.
Disconnect plug EZL 231 - 49X and fit it in socket (module 1, liquid dispensing 1 - 6) EZL 230-A - 49X,
see Fig. 6, Pos. 2b.
