EXAMPLE OF FLEXIBLE PIPE CONNECTION
The hot air ducting set allows the flow of hot air from the appliance to
be directed into other rooms.
Below are some examples of hot air ducting.
In order to create some of the solutions proposed, the installer needs
not only the flexible duct of a suitable diameter but also vents for the air
outlets and the Y elements, neither of which are provided but may be
purchased separately.
Do not exceed the maximum total flexible pipe length calculated
according to the appliance:
Appliance
RITA
The maximum total length:
- is to be reduced by 1 metre for each elbow connector and/or Y
connector used
- is given by the sum of the individual lengths of pipes for each fan
- is subject to a check of the dimensions and the insulation classification
of the environment to be heated and the ducting method.
The flexible pipe can be curved and slightly deformed but it must not
have any narrow sections or be blocked: this would compromise the hot
air flow and appliance safety.
The outlets must not be closed in order to avoid overheating.
a
The outlet must always be kept open and free of clogs in cases
where there is only one rear outlet from the fan. The flexible
pipe must always be insulated to avoid heat dispersion and
provide sound cladding for the air flow.
