6 MAINTENANCE
If the cartridge is particularly dirty or worn, replace it with a new one.
Checking the nozzles
Periodically check the operation of the nozzles on the booms and look for wear.
In fact, with the control unit functioning normally (at the established pressure), enlarged nozzles dispense more liquid
than necessary.
To do this:
- Turn on the system.
- Verify the flow rate of a nozzle (liters per minute) by collecting the fluid inside a graduated container.
- Compare the number of liters with the figures in the special nozzle table.
Use the following formula to find the liters dispensed per hectare:
where:
Lh = volume dispensed per hectare (l/ha)
Q = nozzle flow rate (l/min)
Always use original Tecomec / Geoline spare parts.

7 STORAGE AND WAREHOUSING
Storage and warehousing
If storing for a long period of time, protect the control unit from rain and wind and store in a dry place, if possible.
In particular, protect the electrical parts from dust and external agents.
The control unit could be seriously damaged if it is stored under extreme temperatures. Do not expose the control unit
to temperatures below -10°C or above +60°C.
Disposal
The purchaser is responsible for following the correct procedure and current local regulations for disposing of the
consumable materials and materials deriving from scrapping.

Check the electrical connections.
Make sure that the plugs are correctly
inserted into the valves.
- Disconnect, then connect the main cable
to reset the thermal protection.
- For "Compact control panels": replace fuse.
