• Press "START"; when the word "START" is shown, turn the key to make the starter run.
NB: While the compression test is being performed on petrol engines, keep the throttle pedal pressed to accelerate thoroughly.
• Keep the starter running (friction engaged) throughout the test; stop it only when the word "STOP" is displayed on the monitor.
