DIP-Schalter (6) Nr. 10 in die Position ON schie-
ben. Zur gleichläufigen Steuerung diesen Schal-
ter nach oben (OFF) schieben.
6.2 Fernbedienung LC-3
Über die als Zubehör erhältliche Fernbedienung
LC-3 können verschiedene Funktionen, parallel zur
Musiksteuerung über das Mikrofon, gesteuert werden.
1) Die Fernbedienung an die Buchse REMOTE
CONTROL (11) anschließen.
2) Am Eingang DMX IN (9) darf kein DMX-Signal
anliegen. Der DIP-Schalter (6) Nr. 1 muss in der
Position ON (unten) stehen, die Schalter Nr. 2 – 9
müssen in der oberen Position stehen [Master-
Betrieb, die grüne LED MODE (8) leuchtet].
3) Über den Ausgang DMX OUT (10) können
weitere LE-125DMX angeschlossen werden
(→ Kapitel 6.1.1), um diese über die Fernbedie-
nung gemeinsam mit dem Hauptgerät zu steuern.
4) Mit der Taste STAND BY (14) lässt sich die Funk-
tion Blackout ein- und ausschalten. Bei einge-
schalteter Funktion wird das Licht abgeblendet
und die LED neben der Taste leuchtet.
5) Mit der Taste MODE (16) den Betriebsmodus
wählen:
a) Nach dem Einschalten des LE-125DMX ist
der Sound-Modus aktiviert. Die LED neben
der Taste MODE leuchtet nicht.
Durch Drücken der Taste FUNCTION (15)
wird zwischen gleichläufiger Steuerung und
gegenläufiger Steuerung umgeschaltet (nur
sinnvoll bei der Verwendung mehrerer LE-
125DMX; vgl. Kap. 6.1.1).
b) Zum Umschalten auf den Slow-Modus die
Tas te MODE einmal drücken. Die LED neben
der Taste leuchtet. Mit der Taste FUNC-

4) The control of the auxiliary units may be synchro-
nous to the main unit or opposite to it: For all

the position ON. For synchronous control set this
switch to the upper position (OFF).
6.2 Remote control LC-3
Via the remote control LC-3 available as an acces-
sory different functions may be controlled in parallel
to the music control via the microphone:
1) Connect the remote control to the jack REMOTE
CONTROL (11).
2) No DMX signal must be present at the input DMX
IN (9). Set the DIP switch (6) No.1 to position ON
(lower position) and set the switches 2 to 9 to the
upper position [master operation, the green LED
MODE (8) lights up].
3) Via the output DMX OUT (10) it is possible to
connect further LE-125DMX units (→ chapter
6.1.1) to control them together with the main unit
via the remote control.
4) With the button STAND BY (14) the blackout fun-
c tion can be switched on and off. With the func-
tion switched on, the light is stopped down and
the LED next to the button lights up.
5) With the button MODE (16) select the operating
mode:
a) After switching on the LE-125DMX, the sound
mode is activated. The LED next to the button
MODE does not light up.
Press the button FUNCTION (15) to switch
between synchronous control and opposite
control (only useful if several LE-125DMX
units are used; compare chapter 6.1.1).

6.3 Bedienung über ein Lichtsteuergerät

gen DMX-Werte angegeben.

Belegung der DMX-Kanäle
Als DMX-Schnittstelle besitzt das Gerät 3-po lige
XLR-Anschlüsse mit folgender Kontaktbelegung:
1 = Masse, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
Zum Anschluss sollten spezielle Kabel für hohen
Datenfluss verwendet werden. Normale abge-
schirmte Mikrofonkabel mit einem Leitungsquer-
schnitt von mindestens 2 × 0,22 mm
geringer Kapazität sind nur bei einer Gesamtka-
bellänge bis 100 m zu empfehlen. Bei Leitungslän-
gen ab 150 m wird das Zwischen schalten eines

6.3 Operation via a light control unit
For the operation via a light control unit (e. g. DMX-
1440 from "img Stage Line"), the LE-125DMX is
equipped with two DMX channels. The following
table fig. 5 shows the functions and the corre -
sponding DMX values.

Configuration of the DMX channels
As a DMX interface, the unit has 3-pole XLR
connections with the following contact configuration:
1= ground, 2 = DMX-, 3 = DMX+
For the connection, special cables for high data flow
should be used. The use of microphone cables with a
standard screening and a minimum cable cross sec-

folgenden Gerätes verbinden usw., bis alle Licht -
effektgeräte in einer Kette angeschlossen sind.
3) Den DMX-Ausgang des letzten DMX-Empfän-
gers der Kette mit einem 120-Ω-Widerstand
(> 0,3 W) abschlie ßen: An die Pins 2 und 3 eines
XLR-Steckers den Widerstand anlöten und den
Ste cker in den DMX-Ausgang stecken oder einen
entsprechenden Abschlussstecker (z. B. DLT-123
von „img Stage Line") verwenden.
4) Um das LE-125DMX mit einem Lichtsteuergerät
bedienen zu können, muss als binäre Zahl die
DMX-Startadres se für den 1. DMX-Kanal über
die DIP-Schalter (6) mit den Nrn. 1 – 9 eingestellt
werden. Ist z. B. am Steuergerät die Adresse 17
zum Steuern der Rotation vorge sehen, am LE-
125DMX die Start adresse 17 einstellen.
Die Startadresse ergibt sich durch die Addition
der in den folgenden Abbildungen gezeigten Stel-
lenwerte der DIP-Schalter (1, 2, 4 ... 128, 256),
die auf ON gestellt sind, z. B.:

of up to 100 m. For cable lengths exceeding 150 m it
is recommended to insert a DMX level matching
amplifier (e. g. SR-103DMX from "img Stage Line").
1) Connect the DMX input (9) to the DMX output of
the light control unit.
2) Connect the DMX output (10) to the DMX input of
the next light effect unit. Connect its output to the
input of the following unit, etc. until all light effect
units are connected in one row.
3) Terminate the DMX output of the last DMX re ceiv -
er in the row with a 120 Ω resistor (> 0.3 W): Sol-
der the resistor to the pins 2 and 3 of an XLR plug
and connect the plug to the DMX output or use a
corresponding terminating plug (e. g. DLT-123
from "img Stage Line").
4) To be able to operate the LE-125DMX with a light
control unit, the DMX start address for the first
DMX channel must be adjusted as a binary num-
ber via the DIP switches (6) with the Nos.1 to 9. If
e. g. the address 17 is provided on the control
unit for the control of the rotation, adjust the start
address 17 on the LE-125DMX.
The start address results from the addition of
the switch values of the DIP switches (1, 2, 4 ...
128, 256) which are set to ON, shown in the fol-
lowing figures, e. g.:
