16. Steel cable
•
Inspect the cable and its attachment
•
Do not use the winch if the cable is damaged
•
Do not use the vehicle as an extra force of traction
•
Do not replace the cable with a lower one
•
The longevity of the cable depends on its use and maintenance. After each use,
the cable must be rewound with a load of at least 230kg to avoid its damage.
•
Before first use, pull the cable until the red mark and rewind it properly (see
previous) to ensure proper use.
•
To replace the cable, use "Loctite" or a similar glue to fix the nut. Tighten the nut
tight, but without exaggeration. The glue will prevent relaxes by heavy load. We
recommend the following glues: Loctite 7471 "and" 222Threadlocker "
17. Do not use the winch if the load exceeds the maximum allowed.
18. Do not move the towing vehicle while using the winch, it could cause an over-
load or damage the winch.
19. Avoid to submit the wich to jerks, it damages the cable and can lead to breakage.
20. This winch is suitable for mounting it on a boat or a car for a non-industrial use.
21. Do not use the winch to lift weights.
22. The winch is not designed for lifting people.
TIPS
1.
Your battery must be in good condition
2.
Make sure the cable is not stuck and that it does not rub against an object.
3.
Corrosion on electrical conduits can lead to short circuits. Secure connections
from dirt, especially the remote and power outlets.
4.
Use silicone seals in salty environments to protect the electrical circuits from
corrosion.

WINCHING
Hint: To familiarize yourself with your winch, make a use test. This will help you to
familiarize yourself with the sounds of the winch depending on the load. For your
safety, it is important to plan the use of winch.
USE
1.
Make sure the tow vehicle is stationary. Pull the handbrake and put the wheel-
blocks under the wheels.
2.
Unroll the required length of cable and attach the object to pull. The winch al-
lows a rapid winding of the cable. The shifting is as follows:
a. To disengage, turn the knob to "FREESPOOL [AUS / OUT]. In this position, the
cable can not be pulled out by hand.
b. To engage the gear, turn the knob to "ENGAGED" [EIN / IN]. The winch is
ready to pull.
3.
Check the position of the cable before starting
4.
Connect the remote control. To work safely, use the remote control from the
driver's seat of the vehicle.
5.
Start the engine. Do not engage a gear and hold the number of engine revs at a
low level.
6.
Press the keys "IN" and "OUT" on the remote. Check the winch regularly and
that it rewinds the cable well across the drum.
NOTES
1.
Do not use the winch if a gear is engaged on your vehicle is engaged. This could
damage your engine.
