Fever often occurs in the case of infections, and is a sign that the
body's immune system is working overtime. This perfectly normal
reaction to foreign bodies, germs and microorganisms should be
checked at regular intervals. If the fever should exceed 39°C
(102,2°F) and not fall again within 1 to 2 days, you should definitely
contact your doctor.
A fever is often associated with fatigue, pains in the limbs, shivering
and chills. The course of an illness can be best monitored by taking
a temperature reading 2 to 3 times a day at 4 to 6 hour intervals.
Always take the temperature at the same place and on the same
part of the body. If you have to take the temperature several days in
succession, always do it at approximately the same time of day so
that the results are comparable.
Taking a temperature reading - quickly and accurately!
The MEDISANA Infrared thermometer TM 750 allows a precise
measurement of body temperature. The temperature is taken between
the forehead and the temple or alternatively in the ear. The reading is
displayed within a few seconds.
Additional function
Apart from measuring body temperature, the Infrared thermometer
TM 750 from MEDISANA can also be used to measure the tempe-
rature of objects (e.g. fluids, surfaces, ambient temperature).
The temperature range for this function is between 0° and 100°
Celsius (32°F - 212°F).
