5) Den Klang für die Kanäle 1 und 2 getrennt mit den
Reglern BASS und TREBLE (3) optimal einstellen
sowie den Klang für die Kanäle 3 und 4 gemein-
sam mit den Reglern BASS und TREBLE (10).
6) Erfolgt über Kanal 1 oder 2 eine Mikrofondurch-
sage, kann dabei die Lautstärke für die Kanäle 3
und 4 automatisch reduziert werden. Dazu die
Stärke der Reduzierung mit dem Regler MUTE
LEVEL CH 3 + 4 (8) einstellen. In der Position „0"
erfolgt keine Lautstärkeabsenkung. Wenn das
Gerät bei einer Durchsage die Lautstärke der
Kanäle 3 und 4 verringert, leuchtet die grüne LED
PRIORITY MIC 1 + 2 (9) auf.
7) Nach dem Betrieb das Gerät mit dem Schalter
POWER ausschalten und bei Verwendung eines
Funkmikrofons nicht vergessen, auch dieses
auszuschalten, sonst sind bei dem nächsten
Betrieb dessen Batterien verbraucht.
5.2 CD-Spieler
Es können Audio-CDs und selbst gebrannte CDs
(Audio CD-R) abgespielt werden. Der CD-Spieler
muss immer stationär betrieben werden, d. h. das
Gerät muss bei CD-Betrieb auf standfestem, unbe-
weglichem Untergrund stehen und darf keinen star-
ken Erschütterungen und Stößen ausgesetzt sein.
Zum Einschalten des CD-Spielers den Ein-/Aus-
schalter (12) betätigen. Befindet sich keine CD im
Laufwerk, zeigt das Display (11) „– –" an. Der CD-
Spieler belegt den Kanal 4, d. h. an den Cinch-Buch-
sen (6) darf während der CD-Wiedergabe kein Sig-
nal anliegen. Die Lautstärke der CD-Wiedergabe
wird mit dem Regler VOLUME 4 (7) eingestellt.
5.2.1 CD abspielen
1) Die Taste OPEN/CLOSE (24) drücken. Die CD-
Schublade (22) fährt heraus. Eine CD mit der
Beschriftung nach oben einlegen. Zum Schließen
der Schublade die Taste erneut drücken. Nach
dem Einfahren der Schublade steht der CD-Spie-
ler auf Stopp und das Display (11) zeigt die
Gesamttitelanzahl der CD.
2) Zum Starten des ersten Titels die Taste PLAY/

6) If a microphone announcement is made via chan-
nel 1 or channel 2, the volume for the channels 3
and 4 can automatically be reduced. For this pur-
pose adjust the extent of the reduction with the
control MUTE LEVEL CH 3 + 4 (8). In position "0"
there is no volume attenuation. If the unit reduces
the volume of channels 3 and 4 during an an-
nouncement, the green LED PRIORITY MIC
1 + 2 (9) lights up.
7) After the operation switch off the unit with the
POWER switch. When using the wireless micro-
phone, remember to switch it off as well other-
wise the batteries will be exhausted the next time
the microphone is used.
5.2 CD player
It is possible to play audio CDs and CDs you have
burnt yourself (audio CD-R). The CD player must
always be operated in a stationary way, i.e. for oper-
ation, the unit must be placed on a firm, immobile
ground and must not be subjected to intense vibra-
tions or shocks.
Actuate the power switch (12) to switch on the CD
player. If no CD is inserted, the display (11) shows "–
–". The CD player reserves channel 4, i.e. during
reproduction of the CD, no signal must be applied to
the phono jacks (6). The volume of the CD reproduc-
tion is adjusted with the control VOLUME 4 (7).
5.2.1 Playing a CD
1) Press the button OPEN/CLOSE (24). The CD
drawer (22) opens. Insert a CD with the lettering
facing upwards. To close the drawer, press the
button again. After retracting the drawer, the CD
player is set to stop and the display (11) shows
the total title number of the CD.
PAUSE (23) drücken. Zum Starten mit einem
anderen Titel diesen mit einer der SKIP-Tasten
(25) anwählen (siehe Kap. 5.2.2) und die Wieder-
gabe mit der Taste PLAY/PAUSE starten, so-
lange die Nummer des angewählten Titels im
Display blinkt. Während der Wiedergabe leuchtet
die gelbe LED PLAY (13).
Mit der Taste PLAY/PAUSE kann zwischen
Wiedergabe und Pause gewechselt werden. Im
Pausenmodus blinkt die LED PLAY.
3) Nach dem Abspielen der CD oder nach dem Drü-
cken der Taste STOP (27) erlischt die LED PLAY
und der CD-Spieler schaltet in den Stopp-Modus.
4) Nach jedem Betrieb immer mit der Taste OPEN/
CLOSE die CD-Schublade hereinfahren, um
das Laser-Abtastsystem vor Verschmutzung zu
schützen.
5.2.2 Titelanwahl / Schneller Vor- und Rücklauf
Während des Abspielens oder im Pausenmodus ist
es möglich, mit den SKIP-Tasten (25) einen anderen
Titel anzuwählen oder schnell auf der CD vor- oder
zurückzufahren.
Titelanwahl
Mit jedem Drücken der Taste F.SKIP wird auf den
nächsten Titel weitergesprungen.
Durch einmaliges Drücken der Taste B.SKIP wird
an den Anfang des gerade laufenden Titels ge-
sprungen. Durch mehrfaches Drücken der Taste
wird immer ein Titel weiter zurückgesprungen.
schneller Vor-/Rücklauf
Für den schnellen Vorlauf der CD die Taste
F.SKIP gedrückt halten, für den schnellen Rück-
lauf die Taste B.SKIP gedrückt halten. Der schnel-
le Vor-/Rücklauf fährt auch über mehrere Titel,
stoppt jedoch am Ende und am Anfang der CD.
5.2.3 Eigene Titelfolge zusammenstellen
1) Für die Titelprogrammierung muss der CD-Spie-
ler auf Stopp stehen, ggf. die Taste STOP (27)
drücken.
2) Die Taste PROG (14) drücken. Die gelbe LED
PROGRAM (13) und das Display (11) blinken.

with one of the SKIP buttons (25) [see chapter
5.2.2] and start the replay with the button PLAY/
PAUSE as long as the number of the selected
title flashes in the display. During the replay the
yellow LED PLAY (13) lights up.
With the button PLAY/PAUSE it is possible to
change between replay and pause. In the pause
mode the LED PLAY flashes.
3) After playing the CD or after pressing the button
STOP (27), the LED PLAY will be extinguished
and the CD player will switch to the stop mode.
4) After each operation always retract the CD draw-
er with the button OPEN/CLOSE to protect the
laser system against impurities.
5.2.2 Title selection/Fast forward and reverse
While replaying or in the pause mode it is possible to
select another title with the SKIP buttons (25) or to
advance or reverse quickly on the CD.
Title selection
With each pressing of the button F.SKIP the unit
goes to the next title.
By pressing the button B.SKIP once, the unit
goes to the beginning of the currently playing
title. By pressing this button several times, the
unit always reverses one title.
Fast forward/reverse
For the fast forward of the CD keep the button
F.SKIP pressed, for the fast reverse keep the but-
ton B.SKIP pressed. The fast forward/reverse
also goes beyond several titles, however, it stops
at the end and at the beginning of the CD.
5.2.3 Compiling an individual title sequence
1) For the title programming the CD player must be
set to stop, if necessary, press the button STOP
(27).
2) Press the button PROG (14). The yellow LED
PROGRAM (13) and the display (11) flash.
3) With the button B.SKIP or F.SKIP (25) select the
first title for the desired title sequence.

4) Die Taste PROG (14) drücken.
5) Die Bedienschritte 3 und 4 für alle weiteren ge-
wünschten Titel wiederholen, bis die gesamte
Titelfolge (max. 19 Titel) programmiert ist.
6) Zum Starten der Titelfolge die Taste PLAY/
PAUSE (23) drücken: Die gelbe LED PLAY (13)
leuchtet, das Display hört auf zu blinken und
zeigt die aktuelle Titelnummer an. Die LED PRO-
GRAM blinkt weiterhin während des Abspielens.
7) Nach dem Abspielen der Titelfolge oder nach dem
Drücken der Taste STOP erlöschen alle LEDs
und der CD-Spieler schaltet in den Stopp-Modus.
8) Solange der CD-Spieler nicht ausgeschaltet oder
die CD-Schublade nicht geöffnet wird, bleibt die
Titelfolge gespeichert. Um sie erneut abzuspielen,
im Stopp-Modus die Taste PROG drücken und die
Wiedergabe mit der Taste PLAY/ PAUSE starten.
5.2.4 Wiederholfunktion einschalten
1) Zum ständigen Wiederholen eines Titels die
Taste REPEAT (26) einmal drücken: Der gerade
angewählte Titel wird endlos wiederholt. Die
grüne LED REPEAT (13) leuchtet.
2) Zur ständigen Wiederholung der gesamten CD
oder einer selbst programmierten Titelfolge die
Taste REPEAT ein zweites Mal drücken. Zusätz-
lich zur LED REPEAT leuchtet die grüne LED ALL.
3) Zum Ausschalten der Wiederholfunktion die
Taste REPEAT ein drittes Mal drücken. Die bei-
den LEDs REPEAT und ALL erlöschen.
5.2.5 Hinweis zu Tonaussetzern und Lesefehlern
Zigarettenrauch dringt leicht durch alle Geräteöffnun-
gen und setzt sich auch auf der Optik des Laser-
Abtastsystems ab. Dieser Belag kann zu Lesefehlern
und Tonaussetzern führen. Da sich Zigarettenrauch
nicht immer vermeiden lässt (z. B. in der Discothek),
muss das Gerät dann in einer Fachwerkstatt gerei-
nigt werden. Diese Reinigung ist kostenpflichtig,
auch während der Garantiezeit!
4) Press the button PROG (14).
5) Repeat the operating steps 3 and 4 for all further
desired titles until the entire title sequence (19 ti-
tles max.) has been programmed.
6) To start the title sequence, press the button
PLAY/PAUSE (23): The yellow LED PLAY (13)
lights up, the display stops flashing and shows
the current title number. The LED PROGRAM
continues to flash while playing.
7) After playing the title sequence or after pressing
the button STOP, all LEDs will be extinguished
and the CD player will switch to the stop mode.
8) As long as the CD player is not switched off or the
CD drawer is not opened, the title sequence
remains memorized. To replay it again, press the
button PROG in the stop mode and start the
replay with the button PLAY/PAUSE.
5.2.4 Switching on the repeat function
1) For permanent repeat of a title, press the button
REPEAT (26) once: The just selected title is
continuously repeated. The green LED REPEAT
(13) lights up.
2) For continuous repeat of the entire CD or of an
individually programmed title sequence press the
button REPEAT a second time. In addition to the
LED REPEAT the green LED ALL lights up.
3) To switch off the repeat function, press the button
REPEAT a third time. The two LEDs REPEAT
and ALL will be extinguished.
5.2.5 Note on sound interruptions and reading
errors
Cigarette smoke easily penetrates through all open-
ings of the unit and settles on the optics of the laser
system. This deposit may cause reading errors and
sound interruptions. As cigarette smoke cannot
always be avoided (e. g. in a discothèque), the unit
must in this case be cleaned by authorized person-
nel. There is a charge on this cleaning, even during
the warranty time!
