Mounting the Cutting Blade

WARNING:
To reduce risk of injury,
disconnect the battery from the power tool
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or transporting.
• Place the edger so that the blade faces
upwards.
• Insert the blocking pin, found in the
combination tool provided, as far as possible
into the bore; push lightly and rotate back and
forth a little together with the capture washer
until the shaft is blocked (1).
• Fit a socket wrench onto the capture bolt
head.
• Turn bolt clockwise and remove it (2).
• Remove the capture washer.
• Position the blade on the drive hub.
WARNING:
To reduce risk of injury
and ensure proper tool operation, the collar
(see arrow below) must engage the hole in
the blade.
• Fit the capture washer on the shaft and block
the shaft (3).
• Screw capture bolt counterclockwise onto
shaft and tighten.
WARNING:
The bolt must be in place
and properly tightened to prevent injury.
