DIVACONDENS D PLUS F 24
The unit is equipped with a frost protection system that
activates the boiler in heating mode when the system de-
livery water temperature falls below 6°C. The device is not
active if the power and/or gas supply to the unit is turned
off. If necessary, for system protection use a suitable an-
tifreeze liquid that meets the same requirements as set
out above and provided for by UNI 8065.
In the presence of adequate chemical/physical system
and feed water treatments and related high cyclicity con-
trols able to ensure the required parameters, for industrial
process applications the product can be installed in open-
vessel systems with vessel hydrostatic height able to en-
sure compliance with the minimum operating pressure in-
dicated in the product technical specifications.
The presence of deposits on the boiler exchange sur-
faces due to non-compliance with the above require-
ments will involve non-recognition of the warranty.
Antifreeze system, antifreeze fluids, additives and inhibitors
When necessary, antifreeze fluids, additives and inhibitors can be used only if the man-
ufacturer of such fluids or additives guarantees that they are suitable and do not cause
damage to the exchanger or other components and/or materials of the boiler and system.
Do not use generic antifreeze fluids, additives or inhibitors that are not specific for use in
heating systems and compatible with the materials of the boiler and system.

3.4 Gas connection

The gas must be connected to the relevant connection (see fig. 24) in conformity with the
current standards, using a rigid metal pipe or a continuous surface flexible s/steel tube
and installing a gas cock between the system and boiler. Make sure all the gas connec-
tions are tight.

3.5 Electrical connections

IMPORTANT

BEFORE CARRYING OUT ANY OPERATION THAT
B
REQUIRES REMOVING THE CASING, DISCONNECT
THE BOILER FROM THE ELECTRIC MAINS WITH THE
MAIN SWITCH.
NEVER TOUCH THE ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OR
CONTACTS WITH THE MAIN SWITCH TURNED ON!
DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK WITH RISK OF INJU-
RY OR DEATH!
The unit must be connected to an efficient grounding sys-
B
tem in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
Have the efficiency and suitability of the grounding sys-
tem checked by professionally qualified personnel; the
Manufacturer declines any liability for damage caused by
failure to earth the system.
The boiler is prewired and provided with a three-pole ca-
ble, without a plug, for connection to the electric line. The
connections to the grid must be made with a permanent
connection and equipped with a bipolar switch whose
contacts have a minimum opening of at least 3 mm, inter-
posing fuses of max. 3A between the boiler and the line.
Make sure to respect the polarities (LINE: brown wire /
NEUTRAL: blue wire / GROUND: yellow-green wire) in
the connections to the electric line.
The unit's supply cable MUST NOT BE REPLACED BY
B
THE USER. If the cable gets damaged, turn the unit off
and have the cable replaced only by professionally
qualified personnel. In case of replacement, only use
cable "HAR H05 VV-F" 3x0.75 mm2 with max. external
diameter of 8 mm.
Room thermostat (optional)
IMPORTANT: THE ROOM THERMOSTAT MUST HAVE
B
VOLTAGE-FREE CONTACTS. CONNECTING 230 V TO
THE ROOM THERMOSTAT TERMINALS WILL PERMA-
NENTLY DAMAGE THE ELECTRONIC BOARD.
When connecting time controls or a timer, do not take the
power supply for these devices from their breaking con-
tacts Their power supply must be by means of direct con-
nection from the mains or with batteries, depending on the
kind of device.
Accessing the electrical terminal block
The electrical terminal block can be accessed after removing the casing. The arrange-
ment of the terminals for the various connections is also given in the wiring diagram in
fig. 28.
