Filling the reservoir
Open the reservoir water fill cover (12) and fill the water reservoir (10) without overflowing.
Once finished, close the cover (12).
ATTENTION - FIRST USE AND LONG PERIODS NOT IN USE
When used for the first time or after long period of not being used, if
the steam button (14) is pressed, a soft hum shall be heard and the
appliance will not not produce steam. This phenomenon is absolutely
normal and related to the normal start-up of the product.
Press the steam button (14) until the hum stops and the iron begins to
dispense steam (about 1 minute).
Ironing
• Connect the plug (5) to a suitable socket.
• Press the ON/OFF button (4).
• The steam (ready) LED (7) starts to flash during the warm-up phase.
• Start ironing when the steam (ready) LED (7) lights up and stops blinking.
• The plate temperature LED (13) goes on and off intermittently while ironing, indicating
that the appliance maintains the optimal temperature.
• Press the steam button (14) to steam iron.
• Dry iron by not pressing the steam button (14).
Steam shot
The steam shot function can be used to eliminate difficult creases.
• Press the steam button (14) three quick consecutive times to activate the "steam shot"
function. In this mode, the system delivers steam continuously.
• Press the steam button again (14) to deactivate the "steam shot" function.
ECO function
The appliance is equipped with a new technology that optimises steam production, thereby
reducing energy consumption.
Activate the Eco function by pressing the ECO button (3). The ECO LED lights up.
It is recommended to use the ECO function for delicate garments (silk, wool and light cotton).
The ECO function goes off automatically every time the appliance is switched off.
Filling the reservoir while ironing
• The reservoir (10) can be filled as usual every time the iron is used and even during use.
• When the water in the reservoir (10) is below the minimum level (11), the no water LED
(8) lights up and the iron stops producing steam.
• Open the fill cover (12) and fill the water reservoir (10) without overflowing. Once
finished, close the cover (12) again.
• The appliance is ready to continue ironing.
• Switch the appliance off by pressing the ON/OFF (4) button.
• Disconnect the plug (5) from the socket.
